ABILITY AND EQUIPMENT

Gear varies greatly between characters, particularly the default characters that do not need to be unlocked - while equipping Lift Gear with Roxas can give you a weapon that's excellent in aerial combos, Lift Gear may do something entirely different for another character. Be sure to check the stats and abilities of each weapon before you use it! In addition, the weapon types vary greatly, and some have special functions.

Innate ability: Anti-Flower - Makes it harder for enemies to blind you.

Marluxia, the fruity one, has weapons that are pretty much all named after flowers. His Mystery Gear weapon, Dainty Bellflowers, actually IS a flower. Casual Gear, however, is a Stirring Ladle, and if you want Graceful Dahlia, his classic pink scythe from Story Mode and CoM, equip Zero Gear. Marluxia is a very good offensive character, with fairly high attack power, magic, and critical stats. His HP isn't bad, but his defense and attack speed are pretty low, so don't get complacent. The long reach of his weapon somewhat makes up for the slow speed, once you get used to the combos.
