OMEGA RUBY/ALPHA SAPPHIRE: Snorlax's typical day consists of nothing more than eating and sleeping. It is such a docile Pokemon that there are children who use its expansive belly as a place to play.

SUN: Its stomach is said to be incomparably strong. Even Muk's poison is nothing more than a hint of spice on Snorlax's tongue.

You have a 87.5/12.5 % chance of getting a boy over a girl Snorlax. If you really want a female Snorlax (like I have in Pokemon Moon), you will either have to save before you battle Snorlax or catch a Munchlax until you get a female. If you are just trying to catch one, I would go with the first one you find because in many of the original games you only have one opportunity to get a Snorlax!
