➾ Sap Sipper
- When a Pokemon with Sap Sipper is hit with a Grass-type attack, its Attack is increased by one level, and the move itself has no effect. The only Grass-type move that will not activate Sap Sipper is Aromatherapy. The Pokemon's Attack will only increase one level if hit by Bullet Seed.
➾ Grass Pellet
(Hidden Ability) - is an ability introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature ability of Skiddo and Gogoat. This ability is exclusively obtained as a Hidden Ability. Grass Pelt raises the user's Defense stat when Grassy Terrain is active in battle.
Usho Ishizuka is a Pokemon seiyuu in Japan that portrays many voices in the anime series. He is best known for his deep voice, and generally voices for older characters. His main roles include: Professor Oak, Alder, and a Magikarp Salesman. He does over 48 different Pokemon noises in the anime as well! It is very impressive how talented he is in making grunts and grumbles. Some other examples of roles he plays are the following:
➾ James' Weezing from Pokemon
➾ Van Hohenheim from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
➾ Gozaburo Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!
➾ Gantu from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Gogoat has similar looks to a Goat, and a mane that looks like a Lion. Starting with his head, he has a pretty big one with huge dark horns that curve upwards and to the back of his body. He has a white face, with brown ears, red eyes with black circles that look like a raccoon around his eyes, and a little black nose. His chin has extra white hairs coming down, making it look like he has a little beard. You are unable to see his neck because it is covered in a green/grassy-looking mane. This grassy-like hair also goes over his back, and onto his tail. You can see his coat is a dark brown color, and it gets lighter as you move down towards his legs. From his ankles down, it is white, which makes it look like he is wearing socks. His hooves are dark brown, once again.
PAN, A GREEK GOD
He has options to either be based off of a bharal, dwarf bharal, bilberry, or ibex because of his physical attributes. His horns resemble that of a gazelle or an antelope. However, the best comparison would have to be that the grass around him resembles that of Pan, a Greek God.
Pan is the God of the mountain wilds. His name originates from the word paein
, which means to pasture, in Ancient Greek. His body has the hindquarters, hooves, and horns of a wild goat. Pan is defined as: "Horned, furry, half-man, half-goat, a bit on the short side." Pan is the god who watches over flocks, forests, mountains, and all wild things. This shows true to Gogoat as well, roaming in the mountains, looking and watching over the Pokemon and humans that walk around. Regardless, even if the Pokemon creators did not look at Pan for his design, they have a lot in common.
RAMOS, THE GYM LEADER
In Pokemon X and Y, Ramos, Coumarine City's gym leader and gardener, uses a Gogoat in his party. He is a grass-type trainer, and uses a lot of powerful Pokemon. If you are able to defeat him, you will receive the Plant Badge. The first time you fight the gym leader, Gogoat is a boy on level 37. He knows Grass Knot
, and Take Down
. Gogoat is definitely Ramos' strongest Pokemon, so watch out! Gogoat is in his party for every battle, so it's clear that Gogoat is an important member of Ramos' team. There is no real information posted about the relationship between the two, so this is just some basic information.
