I currently do not have a Rapidash on my PokemonGO Pokedex, however, I do have a few Ponyta's. I think that the area I live in prevents me from easily finding Rapidash. I was able to find Ponyta's when I traveled to Arizona over the summer of 2016. Anyways, here is some basic information for Rapidash on the PokemonGO game!

How do you evolve your Ponyta into a Rapidash? Evolving your Pokemon is what makes them stronger, and will also allow you to complete 100% of your PokemonGO Pokedex. If you have successfully caught a Ponyta, you will need to continue to search for them. Every time you catch a Ponyta, you will get 3 PokeCandies. These candies are what will allow you to evolve. To get Rapidash, you must collect 50 Ponyta PokeCandies. If you send a Ponyta to the Professor, you will get an addition PokeCandy. At 50 candies, you can click the Evolve button on the Ponyta you wish to evolve. Pay attention to the Ponyta's stats if you are trying to battle with Rapidash later.

Where can I find a Ponyta or a Rapidash, usually? The best place to look for a Ponyta, or the slim chance you may run into a Rapidash, is where Fire Types hangout. Below is a list of places that you can usually find Fire Types.

- Farm Land: Appears to have the highest spawn rate level of Fire Type Pokemon
- Cities: Cities have a slight-higher than normal rate of spawning Fire Type Pokemon
- Residential: A normal rate of spawning Fire Type Pokemon

The best place to find Fire Types are in a dry, arid, or warm climate. This includes places like beaches, deserts, or during really hot days. You can also find Fire Types in large parks on very hot days!

What if I want to battle with Rapidash, what should I expect? Rapidash is a great Pokemon to battle with in PokemonGO because it is strong against: Steel, Bug, Ice, and Grass Type Pokemon, and it's only weaknesses are Ground, Rock, and Water Types. The only Pokemon you should really not send Rapidash out against are:
- Golduck, Hydro Pump will be 100% super effective
- Starmie, Hydro Pump will be 100% super effective
- Dragonite, Hyper Beam will be 96% effective
- Blastoise, Hydro Pump will be 96% effective
- Vaporeon, Hydro Pump will be 96% effective

What moves will Rapidash know? Rapidash can have a total of five different moves in battle. Next to each move I will put it's Type, Cool Down (CD) Rate, Energy Per Second (EPS), Dodge Window (DW), and Damage Per Second (DPS). It will also tell you if the move is Standard, or Special moves.
