➾ Torrent - is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Twenty Pokemon can have this Ability, all of which are Water types. All Water-type starter Pokemon have this Ability.
➾ Rain Dash (Hidden Ability) - is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Eleven Pokemon can have this Ability, all of which are Water types. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Lotad's evolutionary line.
VOICE ACTOR
Eric Stuart's voice acting excellence has also earned him the job of voice directing, often while playing one or more characters on the same show. He retired from voice acting in 2009 and moved to Nashville TN to focus on his music career and family. Some other examples of roles he plays are the following:

APPEARANCE
Squirtle is a very small and short Pokemon, which can be seen easily by seeing it's appearance in the anime version of Pokemon. Squirtle has the appearance of a light-blue water turtle. Squirtle has small short legs that it normally walks up-right with, but you can see it running on all fours as well. It's hands and feet both have three points to them. Squirtle's face includes large brownish-red eyes, two small dots for a nose, and a hooked upper lip. Squirtle's tail is long and curls inward at the end of it. It is incased by a tough shell that forms after birth. The shell itself is brown on the top of it with a yellow under-tone at the bottom. There is a thick white ridge between the two colors of the shell as well. The shell itself is a useful tool for Squirtle. It can use it to hide in, sleep in, and as well as a protective shield from other Pokemon and humans.
NAME ORIGIN
The English translation: Squirtle's name is pretty self explanatory once you can understand the parts to it. Squirt is the first part, which means to spray, little, or tiny, and turtle the second part, is meant to describe the biology of the Pokemon.The Japanese translation: Zenigame is the Japanese word for pond turtle. In the Pokemon Black and White version, a television program called PokeQuiz told us that Zeni is an old fashioned Japanese word for money. They say that Squirtle's shell looks like what the old coins used to look like, so that's why the Pokemon got the name Zenigame.
The French translation: Carapuce comes from carapace and puce. Puce can be a word for something cute or a term of affection.
