APPEARANCE
Chidori has long redish-pinkish hair that goes down to about waist level. In the front, she wears part of her hair in braids with spiraling white ribbons all the way down her hair. She wears a white choker with pink lace around her neck, made with what looks like soft fabric. To match, she wears a black headband with white fabric and a needle going through it --- this sits on top of her head, making the needle look like a cross going through her skull. The needle that goes through her hair has a jewel hanging down from one end, while the other end seems sharp. Her clothing is very reserved, wearing a long, all-white, gown with lace on it. It is a little bit low cut, exposing some cleavage, but nothing too revealing. She wears long white stockings and white boots with black on the bottom and spikes at the top.She is known to have a "Gothic-Lolita" look to her. This Japanese fashion is a sub-culture group that imitates Victorian-Era clothing. Big companies such as Milk and Angelic Pretty have adopted this style and brought it farther than just Japan, even into the Western World. The Lolita look began primarily as one of modesty with a focus on quality in both material and manufacture of garments. The original silhouette is of a knee length skirt, or dress, with a "cupcake" shape assisted by petticoats. However, this look has expanded into various types of garments including corsets and floor length skirts. Blouses, knee high socks or stockings, and headdresses are also worn.
When Junpei is a bit startled when he first sees Chidori, stating "Dude, what's with that outfit...? And, what the hell is she drawing...? Man, I'll never understand art. Oh, well..." She wasn't wearing anything that anyone else in the town or the school had. Her outfit appears to be outdated and a bit odd. However, she is never seen without her cap and choker on, even when she is in the hospital and wearing a green hospital dress. She likes her style and wears it very well, especially with her big and dark olive shaped eyes.
WEAPON
Besides for being a Persona user, Chidori also carries around a Chained Hatchet. The Hatchet is chained to her outfit with a metal chain. The base is a beige color, while the actual hatchet is red with metal on the end. It is very sharp and could easily do a lot of damage, making it a great tool for when she is unable to use her Persona. One may ask, 'what is the difference between a hatchet and an ax?' Hatchets are often described as a small ax that can be utilized with the use of one hand rather than two. Featuring a handle that is often half the length of the standard ax handle, the hatchet is a handy tool that can be used for a number of smaller jobs, such as cutting through thick shrubs or small limbs. Along with it's main use in woodcutting, the hatchet has historically been used for other tasks around the home, as well as a weapon.
